About Me:

I'm a young professional that adores my goldendoodle! We love doing anything outside together: running, hunting, swimming, hiking, walking - you name it, we do it!

I have one Doodle - his name is Oscar and he's currently 8 months old. He is the only pet I have and I adore him!

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

We (my boyfriend and I) researched dogs breeds, visited shelters, talked with Breeders, etc. for MONTHS! We went back and forth on what we wanted, what was best for our lifestyle, what was best for the dog, what we could afford, etc. before selecting the Doodle. We choose this breed due to many factors: their level of activity - not as much as a Doberman, but more than a Chow (both breeds we looked into) their non-shedding feature was a big win in our eyes, their ability to be great family dogs for when the time comes to start a family and lastly, I have owned a Golden Retriver in my past - and loved her so much. Her temperment was beautiful and I wanted that in my next dog.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

EVERYTHING! As mentioned above, we love everything outside - we walk/run every day, we love to hike through our woods - he has NEVER been leashed in the woods and is extremely well behaved. I am also into hunting and looking forward to taking him along. This will require additional training, but I know he's going to be a great hunting companion.

As far as our activities inside... he's rather independant. He will cuddle with you for a few moments, but ultimately moves into his own area. I don't mind as I'm also that way.
