About Me:: My wife and I are full time Team Beachbody coaches, currently located in the Wilmington, North Carolina area. Our previous dog was a Giant Schnauzer.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: This August we will be bringing into our family a one year old Double Doodle, Happy. Happy's mom is a Golden Doodle and the dad is a Labradoodle, both owned by friends in Florida.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: We were originally going to get another Giant Schnauzer, since we so loved the last one we had, and we were going start with a puppy, even knowing from experience that the first 2-3 years with a Giant Schnauzer are challenging. However, when we heard that our friends in Florida had one Double Doodle puppy left from a litter of 8 and that she was a laid back female, we decided to make the switch. We have four young grandchildren and the sheer size and energy of a Giant, even though they're sweethearts, could be an issue. The concept of an already full size Double Doodle (about half the size of our Giant) who is laid back and raised in a loving home, is awesome. We can't wait!

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: We both work out of our home and go for multiple walks each day, plus we get around to beaches and downtown areas in the Wilmington area, so Happy will be with us pretty much everywhere but church, LOL.

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: We have a friend who is a wonderful groomer, I assume we'll use her unless I'm able to do it myself. We will for sure go for a puppy cut and was able to do that myself with our Maltese a bunch of years ago but grooming a Giant Schnauzer was whole different story. I'm assuming it might be possible for me to groom Happy - we'll see.
