About Me:: I am retired and my husband and I spend our time between our three homes Marshfield Ma, Nokomis Fl and Harpswell, Me.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: We have a medium-doodle. Isobel is 4years old and is a curly black with a little white goatee and some white on her chest and the bottoms of her paws. She is extremely smart, gentle but ready to engage with other dogs and people She loves to cuddle, swim play tag and ride in the car. She has a toy box that is full and she loves all her toys. She came from the breeder with a stuffed red bear that she still brings to bed at night and cuddles with her front paws. It is too cute to believe! We have just added a mini doodle to our family from Patty Barnes at Log Cabin Labradoodles. Mini-Pearl is the sweetest thing and already she and Isobel are good friends. Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I grew up with standard poodles but my husband always thought that they were sissy dogs. We had a yellow lab for years that he loved so it was a match made in heaven for both of us

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: We walk miles and miles amd miles together. She loves dog beach and swimming both on the ocean and the pool. Cuddling is a great pastime with a good book.

Favorite Doodle Products?: the purple untangler comb is a must. Isobel's coat is a curly wool coat and she swims. If I keep her body clipped short and comb her daily we can avoid mats. Cowboy Magic detangler is also great.She is a perfect citizen on a leash now but when puppy training I loved the Easy walk harness better thn the over the nose option. It avoided any pulling on her neck but prevented undue pulling on the leash with out the uncomfortable strap across a sensitive muzzle.
