About Me:: I'm 44 yrs old. Tom and I have two fur babies - no children...so they are our heart and soul. Before them we led a pretty active life being gone more than we were home. Now with our two puppies we would rather be home with them any day of the week than anywhere else. They make our lives more complete.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Standard Goldendoodle whose name is Irish. She is one of my two fur babies. They say that through your life of being a dog lover (and I've loved every one of them sooo much) - there will be that one dog that just takes your heart to another level. I truly believe that she is that ONE. We also have a sweet, beautiful rescue Aussie Shepherd whose name is Jack. I can't believe anyone would ever let him go. He and Irish are the best of friends and wouldn't know what to do without each other.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I actually got Irish from a family (not breeders) in a town near ours who have a lot of children (human and fur:). Two of their fur children happen to be goldendoodles that had puppies. I saw the ad in our local paper and brought her home a week later. I didn't really choose the breed - I just chose her and she chose me - immediately ran her little legs right up to me. There was no question - no hesitation. My family had poodles when I was growing up and I love Golden Retrievers so I thought I couldn't really go wrong and I was right. She's perfect...well, pretty darn close anyway;)

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: I love to walk with her...we've had some great walks together...so quiet and peaceful. It's therapeutic for both of us. Her and Jack love to ride around in my Jeep with me as I run errands in the wintertime. I love to nap with her...she lays next to me all comfy. I love to expose her to new experiences and she always handles them so well. She's one of my best friends.

Favorite Doodle Products?: Not so much Doodle product, but this is what Irish love, love, loves...
-She loves bully sticks
-She loves stuffed animals that she can tear the stuffing out of!
-She loves squeaky toys.
-She loves peanut butter and pizza crust.

Would you be willing to Dog Sit on occasion for other DoodleKisses members? (You are NOT committing to anything by saying yes - you are just saying you might be willing to do this if you were acquainted with the other member and the circumstances were right.): Yes
