Welcome to doodlekisses, Daniel! I hope you enjoy our community and find it useful in your search for the right doodle breeder. I recommend that you consider breeders outside of CT as well, simply to widen your options--especially if you're able to drive a little out of state. What kind of doodle are you considering? labradoodle? goldendoodle? Early generation? Higher generation? Australian labradoodle? A standard, medium, or mini? Your answers to those questions will make a big difference in what breeder is right for you. In addition to the groups that we have on the site for breeders to sell puppies or the owner recommended list I also want to recommend two other web sites for you:
1) Goldendoodles.com has a list of owner recommended breeders 2) The Premium Breeder list has a list of breeders who do recommended health testing (health testing is a BIG deal and something you should make sure is on your criteria for choosing a breeder--search the archives on here for more info).
Neither of the lists above are a guarantee, but they are good places to start your search.
