I am a retired special education teacher who couldn't wait to get a dog again. I grew up with a poodle and my husband had labs, so that's how we got interested in labradoodles. What a great compromise! We just LOVE our Razzi! We spend a great deal of time with him.
What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
I have a 3 year old cream, male Australian Labradoodle who is the 4 legged love of my life !! His name is Razzi pronounced (Rah zee). He LOVES to play fetch, "find it," and is obsessed with his ball. He loves all of his many toys, but is particularly attached to his stuffed animal, "froggie!" He has lots of playdates and one of his brother's lives in the next town. We see him a lot. Razzi passed his Canine Good Citizenship and we have been training to become a therapy dog. We are taking the TDI test very soon. He is the most loving, affectionate, playful, smart dog. We love him to pieces!!!
Where did you get your doodle(s)?
Breeder
Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
I love poodles and my husband always had labs so what a great compromise ! And they don't shed!! The ABSOLUTE BEST DOG EVER!!!!
What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
We play fetch, walk, have play dates, go for car rides, meet up with other doodles from same breeder, meet with our trainer once a week, share lots of hugs & kisses daily!!!
Hi Debbie ~ I noticed you are new to DK. This site works a little different than say Facebook with status line. You can post a status line, but it falls off the front page so quickly that few members see it unless they happen to be looking at the front . When you are the main page, if you look just below the slide show, you will see a box where you can start a discussion about a subject - you click on the discussion link and then begin you discussion. Say you want to introduce yourself and Razzi to the group. Just start a discussion name it and tell us a little about yourself and Razzi. You will get lots of welcome and comments. You can add a photo of Razzi directly in your discussion by clicking on the image link at the top of the box and downloading the photo into the discussion. If you have questions, jump in an ask, usually someone will respond quickly. BTW - Razzi is a cutie - and I love your photos. Do join the photography group. Again, Welcome!
