What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

2 doodles, Bea ,a brindle Goldendoodle (t1 yr 54 lbs) and Ziggy, a white labradoodle ( about 16 m0s, 40 lbs) and Miss Molly, a Maltese (7 yrs, 6 lbs). I adopted Bea through Doodle Rescue Collective August 31, 2013. I rescued Ziggy from a shelter Jan 9, 2014. He was a stray and had been at the shelter since early Oct 2013. Bea is somewhat shy,submissive and very sweet. Ziggy is very outgoing anyyd extremely affectionate. He has had a problem with running off around the neighborhood (one time he even took sweet Bea with him) and that's probably why he was a stray. Animal control found him very matted and dirty. He had no ID or micro-chip (has both now). He always come home--the longest he stayed away was 2 1/2 hrs, but he was spotted by neighbors during that time). I have worked on the fence and stay outside with him in the yard and taken various precautions and the problem seems to be resolving. Vea, Ziggy and Molly all get along great and behave well. I love them all very much and love hanging out with them. We walk 3-5 mi/day.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

I wanted a dog large enough for me to feel protected. I had read a lot of great things about doodles, and I admit I was fond of the idea of less shedding (Molly does not shed). Bea does not shed at all and Ziggy sheds very little. I love their personalities, playfulness and loving natures.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

I love spending time in the yard with them, watching them play together and race around the yard. I love to just hang out with them, teach them new things, and help them overcome the problems they came with. I love walking with them and playing with them.

Does your doodle(s) shed?

A little bit but nothing major, Nope!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

I do. Neither Bea nor Ziggy have tight curly hair and are easy to care for. Unlike Molly, they do not require frequent professional grooming.
