About Me:: My husband and I retired and moved to Bend, OR in 1999 from Dallas, TX. After 6 months of settling in, we acquired Lucy, our little schnoodle (schnauzer/poodle) and then Otto, our labradoodle, followed 4 years later. Living in the Northwest has been great for all of us. I also enjoy watching TV programs on dog training and obedience!
I love to pamper my pups!

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Otto is our special boy ! He's medium size, F1B, and 3 years old. We would describe him as smart, playful and very loving. His sire was Devons Got Groove Too and dam was Jilin Silver Belle. He's amazing...

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: A lot of website studying convinced me that a doodle had all the qualities we were looking for in a dog.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Otto is a real snuggler, which I love. But, I like to teach him new tricks and take walks with both dogs.

Favorite Doodle Products?: Are there any? Otto loves to play ball and they both like chewing on their kongs. Stuffed toys don't go over well.

I am looking at real estate there for a possible relocation from the frantic Bay Area. (I am also a Texan,but left many years ago!). Maybe at some point we can meet. I am focusing on the NW area of Bend and meeting with a real estate agent there.

I will let you know the next time I'm up and maybe the boys can get together at one of the dog parks. I have had a house on Bend for 5 years and love going up there.

Today we went to Carmel Beach and he was talking as soon as we got into Carmel. He loves the beach and you can tell!

It is perfect for Otto. He looks so much like my Hondo when he was a pup. Actually they still resemble each other, but Hondo is a big guy. He is over 100 pounds and 28 inches tall. He is a F1 labradoodle and the best dog I have ever had.

I, too, am originally from Houston, Texas. Have been in California now for over 30 years and don't miss the heat/humidity at all. I have actually thought about Bend for my "golden years" but just haven't moved forward on it. Am so glad to see Otto. I really looks like a cross of Jilin-Devon doesn't he. How big is he? My Ozzie weighs 44 pounds and is a slender dog. He is ball crazy too and stuffed animals are no longer on the toy list. They last, hmmm, maybe 5 minutes before I start picking up white fluff! I love this boy dearly. Rochelle is a fabulous breeder and I have never heard a single bad word about any of her pups. Glad to be in contact with Ozzie's half-brother!
