Then, I happened on an Australian Labradoodle breeder in my state, and the rest is history. I have two ALDs medium size,and they are 6 and 4 now. Charlie is 8th generation multi-gen and Beau 5th. If you are looking for non-shedding, I would look into the ALDs, their conformation and nonshedding qualities are more like to be true to form. Our breeder told us within 5 lbs of what our doodles would weigh at maturity. Neither sheds, and they are the sweetest,most laid-back boys. Good luck in your search.
