About Me:

I am a 69 year young retired single lady who recently moved from the "snow belt", (Erie, PA) to the south to be closer to my children. They all live in the south. I also wanted to get back into breeding dogs. I bought my house with that in mind. Only 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, but a large fenced in yard with a large screened in porch for puppy enrichment. My daughter lives here and I'm only 2 hours from one of my sons and 3 hours from the other one. I babysit a lot and have managed to find 4 amazing dogs to join my family.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

I have 4 F1B mini Goldendoodles. Hogan, a white 22 pound boy who is extremely intelligent and loving. Keegan, who is a 12 pound ball of energy. She's a jumper and can clear a 4 foot fence with ease. Raegan is a 14 pound laid back, sweetheart who can get into and out of impossibly small spaces, even tho she can "get out" whenever she wants, she's a homebody who never runs away. Shannon is the baby, but she's the biggest. she's 28 pounds of lapdog who always wants to have all of the attention and thinks she's as small as the other 3. She's always the one that other people fall in love with first.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

I bred Goldens and had at least 2 or 3 in the house for 30 years. I loved my Goldens and they were family. But I also went thru vacuum cleaners every 2 years! Growing up, I had poodles, so I knew how intelligent they are. This just seemed like a perfect match, the temperament of a Golden and the intelligence of the poodle, plus no shedding!

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

This may sound wrong, but I love to sit and watch them zoom around and play together. I also love teaching them to do things together, (basic commands, walking on lead, etc.)

Does your doodle(s) shed?

Nope!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

I have been learning, and grooming them at home.
