What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Goldendoodle named sprocket born May 2, 2013. We also have a kitty, chickens and guinea hens.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: We had a 150 pound long hair Akita named Oreo. He passed away almost 2 years ago. It took us a while to feel that we were ready for another dog, but our son was 3 and we thought it would be good for him. My husbands first dog was a golden retriever and he started talking about that. I was always vacuuming with Oreo and I wanted a dog that didn't shed and that is when I discovered the goldendoodle breed.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Play outside. My son loves to be outside, so we run around in the back yard, chasing each other, balls, Frisbees etc, Unfortunately sprocket eats everything and we now have to put him on a leash Again. We had him off his leash, he is very smart and stays right with us, but we can't stop him from eating stuff. He gets diarrhea from the stuff he eats outside and some how he eats my sons socks and throws them up the next day. I don't know how he gets them because I'm so careful with them.

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: We do. I bath him a couple of times a week because he goes to work with my husband and whenever he plays with the neighbors dog he gets all muddy. I brush him every night and keep the hair out of his eyes. We use dog groomers to cut his hair.
