Active young 60-year-old with a beautiful Labradoodle who joins my husband and me everywhere we go.

Murphie is a female Labradoodle, whom we obtained from a very nice family breeder in Tualatin, Oregon. She is 9-1/2 years old and is remarkably smart, loving, sweet, and BEAUTIFUL.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

We had just gotten engaged and moved into a new (to us) home, and wanted a dog that didn't smell bad or shed. We didn't know we would end up with the most wonderful dog in the world!

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

We both go for walks every day with Murphie (she gets us out) and it's a great way to connect with others in the neighborhood. We love taking Murphie with us on road trips. My husband takes her just about everywhere he goes during the day, and she loves going into stores--especially the hardware store! And people love to meet her. She brings sunshine to other people's lives.

Nope!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

A local groomer, "Grooming and Boarding by Lynn"

Favorite Doodle Products?

Murphie has a great dog bed from LLBean, and a nice bone-shaped pillow that she loves. We have a good brush, which is needed sometimes. She likes the "Greenies" chews, and gets one every evening.
