About Me:: I am a wife and mother. Education wise I have a BA in History and a Master's of Divinity. I currently have 3 cats. We have had retrievers and greyhounds in the past and goldendoodles seem the right kind for two people in retirement who want a loving dog who needs people around.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: I have a deposit down on a puppy which is due to be born in the next week. I am having labor pains. I look at the site every day to see if there are pix of the baby goldendoodles. I am reading everything I can get and if anyone has suggestions of what to read I would appreciate it.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: Looking for a sweet dog, smart and easily trainable. I am paying for a month's worth of training before the dog comes to me so it will have a head start.

You are definitely getting the "best" breed of doggie for love, companionship and they are so people friendly. Our Libby has our hearts and is the best dog we have ever had. This site is great and the information on Doodles is amazing. Check out the groups and discussions, they are wonderful! Be sure and post pictures when you baby arrives. I am so excited for you, there is nothing like a new puppy in the home!
