What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
I recently adopted a goldendoodle from a family that was moving and couldn't take her with them. Bella is three years old and buff colored doodle, she seems to be on the smaller side of doodles but that's ok with us. We've only had Bella in our family for a few days but we have all fallen head of heels for her!
Where did you get your doodle(s)?
Rehome
Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
We just recently put our mini schnauzer into the rescue because he wasn't working out in our family. He has shown aggressive behavior to our children and he wasn't happy. He's doing wonderfully in the rescue foster.
Does your doodle(s) shed?
A little bit but nothing major

Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies

I got this recipe from my Aunt and my mini schnauzer loved them, so I thought I would share. If you make these please let me know if your doodle likes them or if you modify the recipe! What's better than homemade dog cookies?

Dog Cookies

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 cup rolled oats (I use flavored instant oatmeal packs)
1 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 cup milk (reduced or fat free) (Add a splash more if dough is too dry)
1 cup peanut butter
1 tablespoon molasses

Additional flour for rolling

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350
Whisk the flour, oats and baking powder together in a medium bowl
Gradually stir in the milk, peanut butter and molasses
Turn out onto a floured surface
Knead until a soft dough forms
Roll out to 1/2" thickness and cut with a dog bone cookie cutter
Bake for 20 minutes (My oven runs hot so 17 minutes is perfect)
Cool completely on a wire rack

Yield: About 70 biscuits using a small bone shaped cutter

Storing: 2 weeks in a treat jar, 3-4 weeks in refrigerator, 6 months frozen
