About Me:: Wanting a male, LARGE, housebroken doodle in the worst way. Am retired and a stay at home wife. Just lost my 2 OLD dogs last year to kidney disease and cancer. Am now ready for some new loves in my life.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: I only have one little mutt now. Her name is Sophie and the vet said she is part this and that but she's cute and sweet. Around 40 pounds

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I want a doodle because I've been eating dog hair for the last 50 years and I'm tired of it.

Would you be willing to Dog Sit on occasion for other DoodleKisses members? (You are NOT committing to anything by saying yes - you are just saying you might be willing to do this if you were acquainted with the other member and the circumstances were right.): Yes

I actually had to wear waterproof mascara today because I keep crying! I wish you were able to have a little more time with her but I am so happy she didn't suffer. One of my oldest friends discovered her Golden had leukemia and lymphoma a few weeks ago and she was gone in a week. She was only 8, as well. I also feel sad for your other babies - they will miss Maggie so much. Anyway, thinking of you and sending hugs from Libby Louise and me!

Regarding your concerns about Blue Buffalo, please re-read the discussion in the Food Group. It has been updated with information from the company. There is nothing going on with the food, it's fine, and the information provided in that original post by the person who read all of these anecdotal horror stories on that "review" site is completely incorrect. I hope this makes you feel better. I am sending you a friend request, you can contact me direrctly with any food questions, or you can ask in TFG. That's what we are here for. All advice on foods that the DRC gives out comes from me anyway, lol.

Doodles are definitely loving dogs and shed very, very little. Our Libby does not shed at all. This site is wonderful for great information on Doodles and lots of fun too!
