About Me:

I am 29 and live in north county San Diego. I am a hairdresser and I have recently opened my own salon studio. I grew up swimming and went to college on a scholarship in the south and moved out here 5 years ago.

I have an F1 goldendoodle girl from Christy's April litter ( went home June 2014). Her name is Kula, and she gets along great with my two cats!

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

I grew up with a golden retriever and would love another ..... After he passed at 15 years old, I became more and more allergic to certain types of dogs. One of my aunts has an f1b and my other aunt has a labordoodle. I noticed I didn't have any issues with them. Also after doing research it seemed like doodles turn out to be healthier dogs.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

I take Kula to work with me everyday and she is a big hit. We always have people coming by our door to check her out. She loves to say hi to everyone and give them kisses. I am hoping to get her certified as a therapy dog and take her to see people in the hospital. I figured she is already doing so well with everyone at the salon she would have been good at it! She has already become the salon mascot. Everyone has their own salon studio within a building and she made sure to say hi to everyone. She likes to sit on the porch and wait for her neighbor friend to come by to say hi. Kula mastered sit, come, down, and shake easily....I need to work on adding more to her routine.

Does your doodle(s) shed?

A little bit but nothing major, Nope!
