- I am a military wife and have just relocated to the Virginia Beach area in late October. Two weeks upon living here, our beloved, light of our lives, 12 yo collie/sheltie mix - Bailey, suddenly got very sick. Diagnosed with stage II Kidney disease. After 2 more weeks of multiple hospital visits, Bailey crossed over to the rainbow bridge. My husband & I were both devastated. As avid dog lovers, we could not imagine our lives without a dog in it. Upon searching for different breeds, friends of ours mentioned that the goldendoodle would be a perfect fit for us. Although our hearts still ache for our Bailey, we are open and able to give love to another. Am looking for other doodle owners to connect with. with.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- We are getting mini doodle the 2nd week in February and can't be more excited.
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- Friends of ours recommended getting a golden doodle as they thought the breed would be a perfect fit for us. After much research, we could't agree more.

Hi Patty ~ I saw your post about "getting around on DK" and you got some great info on where to start. You also mentioned you were trying to train Riley to use the bells when she has to go potty. How did that work for you? I have two doodles (Charlie & Beau) and they both use the bells. I just love it because they are not pawing at the door or barking to go out! You have some very cute photos - maybe you would like to join the photo group? DK puts several calendars for the following year. One is a calendar with just puppy photos - you should submit one of your sweet little girl.
