Hi Rachel! Sorry it's taken me so long to respond.... end of school and graduations are keeping us busy! Yes, you do see me & Lucy at Cranbrook - she loves to ride in the car with me :) I also like to take her for runs around the campus - it's one of her favorite things! For grooming, I take Lucy to JP's Grooming in Bloomfield Hills on Vaughan Road & Woodward. Owners are very nice and understand Goldendoodles and how they should be cut. I recently had Lucy's long hair cut shorter, and they took great pains on getting every single matt out (and there were plenty, poor dog) so they didn't have to shave her. You do need to articulate exactly what you want, however, as once in a while they do forget what each particular owner may want (everyone has their own opinions on how their dog should be cut). I like Lucy cut with a "donut" nose - don't like it too long, and recently had her entire coat cut to 2", although it's much cuter after it grows out a little.

Hope this helps! Anytime you and your Doodle want to walk or run with us, just let me know! Shari

Hi Rachel,
How are things going? How's the puppy? Daisy is doing great. She's 6 months and weights 32 lbs. I see Chelsea weighs 51 lbs. Wow! The other puppies from Daisy's litter (the two I know of) weigh that also.

Daisy will be getting her first hair cut next week so I'll post new pictures after that. She just got spayed a couple of weeks ago and had finally recoverd from that. They did such a great job! It's been a long time since I've had a female. It seems years ago it always left a bit of a scar. You can't even tell she was fixed. I love the new glue instead of stitches.

She's definatly hit the teenage years. She's still very well behaved for a puppy but still gets into things on a daily basis.

Did the vaginitas ever clear up? It didn't for us but my vet and the county vet who spayed her said usually getting them fixed is the only thing that will clear it up. I hope so, I still can't tell yet.

Give me an update on your Chelsea.
Debbie

Just read that you purchased the Les Poochs brush.....I have a couple of questions....it seems so big....is it difficult to get under the arms or by the back legs?.....Comiskey is 30 lbs and won't get much bigger....I am about to pick up my second doodle and he will be the same size....I was very confused by the website....any recommendations.....the coats will be semi-curly to wavy...thanks

Hey Rachel! Monty is from the Juliet/De Bon Aire litter. I took him to the vet last wk when he was 10 wks old and he weighed 15 lbs. Im not sure how big he will get, Shawna said around 55-65 range. He is still having a few accidents in the house, some days are good and then he just will have and accident out of no where! I dont have a clue how long this will last!! Your little one is soooo cute!! Do you crate train? Anxious to hear back from ya!

Hello Rachel, I have a golden doodle, almost 8 mos old. He was 6 mos when I got him. He is going to be trained as a therapy dog. We also getting a labradoodle in January, he is chocolate and we named him Choco latte and will call him Choco. My GD is Dakota, what is your puppy's name.
