About Me:

I'm married with 2 grown children, one still living with us at home :-). I work as a CA at a Chiropractic office and my husband works in the Maintenance dept of a large wholesale food company. We're active outdoor people; we run, cycle, hike etc....but I favorite thing to do was to spend time outside with our sweet boy Koda.

We recently said goodbye to our 11 yr old boy. His health, which had always been excellent, took a sudden downturn and it was discovered he had cancer of the spleen, as well as some complications that came with that. Our sweet sweet boy left this world on Oct 7, 2015. We so miss him!

I'm hoping to connect with other doodle owners and perhaps find a rescue doodle we can adopt and give a home.

Koda - F1 Goldendoodle
Our Koda was just the sweetest most handsome boy; to meet him was to fall in love with him. In the 11 years we had him, our sweet funny wiggly playful pup grew into the sweetest natured, calm loving boy you could wish for. He loved his family, his treats, his walks, a good roll in the grass, and the few romps in the snow he was lucky to have here on the coast of British Columbia.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

When we started thinking about getting a dog, we happened to meet someone who had a little 'golden retriever/poodle cross' puppy. We didn't even know the name 'Goldendoodle' at the time, they were still a very new breed. We live in a condo and were hoping to find a dog that would fit well with that and one who would be either non-shedding or low shedding. I started doing research online, found the website Goldendoodles.com and fell in love. The more we learned about them we knew this was the dog for us. We found a great wonderful recommended breeder through the Goldendoodles site and the rest is history...

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

Long walks, sitting out in a field relaxing, sharing popcorn on movie nights....I enjoyed doing everything with my doodle, he was our furbaby.
