What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: We have a mini labradoodle puppy (born 1/31/09) named Cosmo. Just brought him home on March 29, 2009. Also have two cats and a fish!

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: My sister has a doodle and a maltipoo and adores the doodle (the maltipoo--not so much!). I hear doodles are very smart and great companions, and we have allergies in my family so we were looking for an allergy-friendly dog. Plus my daughter has been begging for a dog for years.

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: To be determined. Possibly yours truly if I'm feeling brave.

We lucked out with our doodle but I didn't find this site until AFTER we got Ned. 'Samantha' & I live in NJ. She begged and pleaded and DH & I finally gave in and we left NJ for our apartment in Florida. On the way we stopped to visit friends in Richmond. Belinda from the Richmon grouop invited us over to meet her and she surprised us with 16 Doodles that came over to play. We have also met several DK members here in Florida. You have found a wonderful extended family to join here in DK.
Just read some of the blogs, join some groups, do a search on OR and see if there are members near you to meet. Meet some Doodles and you will be hooked. They are incredibly sweet, loving and smart. Ask questions to some breeders and they will give you honest answers.
Good Luck!! You will become addicted!!
