Just turned sixty yo. Lost my little schnoodle to cancer and decided to get a goldendoodle this time. I am a freelance editor, gardener and passionate grandmother married for 33 years to my first love.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

I have an F1b petite goldendoodle named Rosey Posey. I have had her for about five weeks now and am working hard on potty training and basic obedience. I hope to use her as a therapy dog to take her to rehab and memory care facilities and to the local Texas Children's Hospital which is just being built in our area.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

I have owned both a golden and a poodle in the past, loved many things about both of them. Had read a great deal about the great temperament of the doodle. Needed a dog that would be good with my grandchlldren and likely to be more hypoallergenic.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

We are in the initial bonding/socializing stage so I take her everywhere I can with me. I am also watching many positive training videos on youtube to learn how to teach her.

Does your doodle(s) shed?

A little bit but nothing major

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

She is only 17 weeks and has just shed her puppy coat.
