I love the personality of Retrievers, but I'm hoping for a lower shedder! A dog that's a little smaller won't be a bad thing either ☺️ Neither is a deal breaker though. We wanted a dog that would fit in well with our family and wouldn't be as likely to torment our cats.

Congratulations on your doodle. So nice to see someone else in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. We live in Benbrook and got Lizzy (F1 Black Goldendoodle) when she was 4 months old. She is now 9 months, 50 lbs and a delight. My husband and I are retired from the FWISD and totally enjoying the challenges (and there have been several ;-) of owning our first doodle. He is adorable! Enjoy!
