Event Description

Let's go to the dog park! Sophie & Abby are excited to meet more Doodles!
This is chance for Doodles in Minnesota (and surrounding areas) to get together.
May 2nd 2009 at Locke Park in Fridley, MN.
Start at 11 am & continue until the dogs & owners are tired.

There is a pavillion just outside of the dog park where we will have hot dogs and snacks. Let us know if you would like to bring pop or snacks to share!

Please RSVP by clicking on the "I will attend this event button", so we have an idea of how many people will be there.

Comment by Elizabeth on April 28, 2009 at 9:20pm: For anyone looking at what to bring, looks like we've got hotdogs/brats and buns, dessert, and two cold salads. (So far people are brining their own drinks. So.. I'm thinking for anyone yet to decide what to bring here are some ideas: Plates, napkins, forks, Chips, bottled water, veggie tray, or any other good ideas.. Things to think about bringing: folding chair, ice cream pale or jug of water for the dog, folding chair? (they do have picnic tables there inside and outside of the dog park) Right next to the dog park is a pavillion where we may have lunch; you may consider a lead/tie out for dog if you want to sit outside the dog park at the pavillion and eat with your dog on leash..

Comment by Denise, Winnie, and AngelAbby on April 28, 2009 at 9:15am: Weather for Saturday - as of today - is for partly cloudy - says nothing about rain - and 61 degrees. Sounds nice to me - as far as having an outing with the doods. I'll keep checking and updating as the date gets closer...

Comment by Elizabeth on April 26, 2009 at 4:37pm: They do have a shelter there at the park, quite a few of them actually. Hopefully there won't be rain. We will plan for Saturday still- if it's going to be beautiful on Sunday- we could get together early afternoon Sunday as a back up plan. We will just keep an eye on the weather and hope for a beautiful day!
