Hello fellow Doodlers....next Saturday we resume our SO CAL DOODLE DAY fun!! Same time and place.

Can't wait to catch up with everyone and see our friend and make some new ones.

Attending the Doggie Poolooza at the Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park in Ontario (open to all dogs). One day a year they open the public pool to dogs only. Sassy loves the water and Saturday is her 2nd birthday! My baby girl is growning up..... See you all next time, have fun.

Comment by Gwyndolyn Morasko on September 9, 2013 at 2:48pm: I'm really bummed that we won't be able to make it on Saturday. It is Yom Kippur for Paul, so I'll be covering for him at his Estate Sale. And the puppies really need another romp! We all went to the Malibu Doodle Romp on Saturday, and it was unfortunately not a romp for them. I completely misunderstood or misread the description that said it was a fenced in area and safe to let the kids roam and romp. When I got there, the fence was just a cattle fence with big open slats, so I couldn't trust Maggie not to run away, so I had to keep both of them on leash the entire time. They weren't too happy, but I couldn't risk it. Kona would have been fine, but Maggie has never been to a romp before and she is a runner. Big time. So....until she gets some strong obedience training under her belt, we need to stick with Arbor dog park for now! (She had a blast at the ocean with Sassy and Jose on Saturday on the way home from Malibu, but there were a few times that I got scared that she was going to run to the next beach town! )
