I JUST GOT MY GIRL COCO 4 DAYS AGO SHE IS SCARED STILL AND I KNOW CAUSE HER TALE IS STRAIGHT DOWN... SHE GET SCARED WHEN GOING OUTSIDE SHE STARTS TO SHAKE AND WHINE.. FOR THE PAST DAYS SHE BEEN HEAR IT HAS BEEN RAINING BUT SHE DID GO TO THE BATH ROOM THE SAME DAY I BRANG HER HOME THEN SHE WILL JUST TENSE UP AND TRY TO RUN BACK IN THE HOUSE SHE WONT EVEN TAKE HER SNACKS OUTSIDE... SHE WILL ONLY EAT HER SNACKS IF I LAY WITH HER AND SHE STARTING TO SMELL LICK MY HAND... BUT WHEN I TELL HER LETS GO TO THE KITCHEN SHE WILL NOT FOLLOW ME SHE JUST LAYS HER HEAD BACK DOWN AFTER LOOKING AROUND....

 

 

SHE REALLY DIDNT EAT TODAY, BUT WHEN  I PUSHED HER TOWARDS HER FOOD SHE EAT  AND DRUNK HER WATER RIGHT NOW SHE IS IN HER CRATE I BOUGHT TO HOUSE TRAIN HER IN..

 

I NEED SOME ADVISE IS THIS NORMAL I DONT KNOW ITS MY FIRST TIME

Well.... I honestly don't know much about shepherds or pit bulls, but do know what your describing is not normal puppy behavior. Was your puppy well socialized at the breeders home? How was she when you picked her out? Was she very timid or was she more outgoing at the breeders home? Pups can be somewhat shy the first few days home, but this pup needs a lot of work and fast. I have a few ideas but really think you should consult a behaviorist. Beth from IDOG (International Doodle Owners Group) is who I would get in contact with. well i got coco from a breeder he dilivered me to her... he is a known breeder from his conversation and wasnt the first time he breeded these puppy's so my first istant was she would be okay... i have not made a vet apointment yet but all her shot records are up to date she has use the bath room 3 times outside and is finding her way into the apartment building since i live on the 3rd floor she will loosen up if she lays with me and i pet her and will fall asleep laying with me but when i walk towards her or pull on her lease she gets scared and her tail goes down... i dont know whats wrong with her besides she is still scared

Just sounds like she is a baby and needs a little more time with adjusting before your pulling on a leash trying to guide her. Put the leash on her inside your apartment and let her drag it around in her space so she gets use to it, if you want her to follow you in your apartment drop little pieces of treats behind you as your walking into the kitchen or where you want her to follow, you also can use her name and tell her to come in a happy voice, but not scarry. When your outside and she is done doing her pottying, offer her a treat and speak with your happy voice, tell her she is a good girl and then pick her up and carry her inside so you are not pulling on the leash, do this for a week to build up her confidence, once you see her happy side coming around, outside drop some training treats and see if she will follow with you holding her leash. You need to take it slow with her, it's hard at first to get some dogs to accept a leash so as it is. Adjusting to a new enviroment, and not having her siblings around is a hard adjustment for a puppy.

thank you for the comment.... today was the first day she went to the dog park i carryed her there and then once she got there her tail was down as she was scared but once she sniffed around and see other dogs she pulled on the leash for me to walk her over i did... she went by the dogs tail started wagging i was excited because she was loosing up a lil ..... she would walk fine if i followed her with the leash... people even peted her and she was afraid but she realized i was around and she was good.... we got home and she walked down the block and when she smelled my steps she ran up and threw the door since i live on the 3rd floor apartment building she knew where to go... she is actually very smart she ran up the 1 flight then turn the hallway sniffed a lil i said go coco and she walked up the 2nd and right into the house and went into her room.... she must be tired.... lol thank you...... for the comment ..... i see there is hope ..... she is smart.... coco chanel

today she had no problem going outside we went 6 30 this morining as i do every morining went to the bath room went in the house herself and went to her bowl and eat and now is laying down in my bed lol i am making progress
