He is the best natured guy I've met; he is crate-trained, house-broken, and doesn't have a mean bone in his body! Just a great big bundle of love!
Let's see if this works; I'll post more pics later!
Watch out, Karen! Love has a way of twining itself around your heart.
Failed-fostering can happen before you know it. It can sneak up on you, grab you and never let you go. You might not ever see it coming. Then BAM!
Lynne, Jack, Ginger and Cody send hugs and kisses and a lot of drool.
LOL! I'm a hard-a$$...I've fostered before! Jack and my cat will be very happy when this guy gets a home and things get back to normal...and if I even think about keeping him, my daughter threatens to kill me/have me committed/all of the above, lol. One big doodle around here is enough!
Update: Kobe went to his new home yesterday! Here's the e-mail I received from his new mom this a.m.:
Hi Karen,
Kobe had just the greatest night – he loves the house and our big yard (he’s searched every square inch), and he’s been a cuddly guy with everyone in the family. He jumped right into his crate last night, and did so well all night long. Of course, this morning, he walked into the bathroom with my son’s shoe in his mouth, but he handed it right over. Lizzie has already said that Kobe’s her favorite dog ever (aah, the fickle loyalty of a 5-year-old girl). I’m so happy that we have a great dog for her to love – she has really missed Callie, and just loves having an affectionate dog to hug.
He seems like he will be just fine to train as well – he’s so eager to please.
All is well so far. I’ll keep you updated, but wanted to let you know that Kobe appears to be very happy with his new home!
