Does anyone out there use their doodles for any kind of hunting?

Are you going to hunt with your doodle? We are going to start training Giada this Winter and huter w/ her next Fall:) My husband will do that, and I am in charge of the general training. She is SOoo good off leash in the woods! No matter what she is doing when she hears the wistle she comes right back to me....love to see her stop on a dime!!

I really have no hands on experience with hunting, but many of the men in my family hunt. I can't imagine a better hunting dog than a labradoodle or goldendoodle. The 'retriever' side plus the 'water foul' hunter of the poodle. How could you get much better than that? Plus they are so eager to please... It sounds like many people have had great luck with their doodle as a hunting partner.
