Pet First-Aid & CPR Training
I had an opportunity to attend a pet first-aid & CPR training class this past Saturday given by Denise Fleck of Sunny-dog Ink. Fleck offered to come to Maryland after being contacted by 15-year-old local resident who organized it for her Girl Scout Gold Award after seeing her on the "Groomer Has It" TV show. Denise donated her time to teach the free class here in Southern Maryland. The class was outstanding. I'm already a EMT so the first aid part wasn't much different than for humans, but I learned a lot on the animal CPR and rescue breathing part. If anyone has a chance to take on of Denise's classes jump at it.

I did see her on Groomer Has It...Love that show. I learned alot just from that night. Sounds good!

Yes I took a class here in Washington State last March it was great. With 7 dogs my vet told me to take the class and get my card so I didn't have to run in for every little thing. It helps so much to do snout to tail assessments on a regular basis.
