Hello. Just joined this at Christine Phillips' invitation. I got my F1 minidoodle from the Paw Pad. His name is Angus and he was born 8/13/07. Absolutely fabulous dog.

Hi Susan,

Christine told me that Angus is Gracie' brother. I almost feel like I am looking at Gracie when I look at Angus's photo. Gracie too is a great dog. My children are grown now and I had two dogs who both passed away last year. I was very lonely and now I love being a dog owner again. I will look forward to staying in touch.

Hello, Barbara. Yes, Gracie does resemble Angus. He weighs about 33-35 lbs. and is so adorable and smart as a whip. I'm a first time dog owner, but my son got a puppy the year before, so I learned a lot about puppies over that year, since he stayed at my house during the day, and still does; the two dogs (my son has a standard doodle - about 80 lbs.) are good buddies, although my little guy sometimes teases him mercilessly he takes it in good humor.

Hello, Marion. Yes, I got an F1 mingoldendoodle (b. 8/13/07) from the Paw Pad. His name is Angus and he's an absolute joy. I'm a first-time dog owner. Christine was very helpful every step of the way. I live in Dartmouth, MA.

There are a few of us in the Chicago area; I'm in Buffalo Grove, I know there are others in Schaumburg, Yorkville, etc. Check out the Midwest Doodles Group...maybe we need an Illinois Doodles group, as well!
(My Jack is not from Christine, he is a rehome.)
