A doodle, and.... a KITTEN!

Hello everyone! 

Wow it has been awhile since I've been on here! Zsusie doodle is doing soooo well (can you believe she is already 3yrs old!) and now has a big backyard to play in (we bought a house! YAY!)

Anywho, yesterday we added a new member to our familiy... a little 3.5month old kitten, named Khaleesi (a rescue).  She is super sweet and cuddly! Right now we have her locked in our spare bedroom, as we are a bit nervous about introductions.

Zsusie is rather excited (to put it VERY mildly!) to meet her new sister, and I'm not sure about how to introduce them without causing the kitten to be overwhelmed/scared or start a fight... I want them to be best buds!  The kitten seems very interested in Zsusie from afar, but has hissed/ran and hid upon closer inspections (i.e. the dog coming closer to the door).  They have not formally met (only through scent/sound)

We also have an older cat, Tootsie (6yrs), who is pretty relaxed and nonchalant about it all. She was 3yrs old when Zsusie-doodle was introduced, and they are good pals (most of the time)... I just feel it is a completely different ball-game with the kitten and a now-bigger dog.... 

Basically I'm wondering if anyone out in Doodle-Land has any advice/experience on introducing the new kitten to our dog...?  Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!!

You new kitty is adorable. I hope you get some great advice. My cat HATES our dogs and won't come anywhere near them. Good luck!
