A SPECIAL "XMAS HIPS FOR MIDNIGHT" RAFFLE

A very special member of the Doodle Kisses family (Paul and Michele) has generously volunteered to donate a hand-made "Doodle Blanket" as a raffle prize to benefit Midnight's "XMAS Hips Fund".  In addition to the blanket, she is also going to include a monogrammed collar.  The blankets that she makes are beautiful!  When I saw the picture, I ordered one for each of my boys.  Here's one picture, but if you go to Michele's page there are more, so you can see what these blankets look like in different colors.  Michele says the actually look even better "in person".  I've included the link to Michele's photos right under the picture.

So, here's how the raffle will work...

• Everyone who has already donated at least $25 to Midnight's Fund is already eligible and will be entered into the drawing.
• Anyone who donates at least $25 in the next seven days will also be eligible.

Can you guess who will be drawing the winning entry?  Yes, Midnight is going to "pick the winner".  We'll put all the entries in a hat (or maybe a dog dish), and he will select the "winning ticket".  Todd Sumlin (Krista's professional photographer DH), has offered to do photos and a video of "the drawing".  I wish I could be there to see this in person, but I'm just thrilled that Todd has agreed to do this so we can all share in the "excitement".

So all you have to do to be part of the drawing for this very cool "Doodle blanket" and to know that you're helping Midnight to get his XMAS wish is go to the "Chip In" and make a donation of $25 or more. 

We at DRC are so grateful for everyone's support.  Thanks to all of you, we're now just over the 50% mark....and climbing.  Michele, we owe you a huge "thank you" for coming up with this idea and offering this "labor of love" to help Midnight.  So, let's have some fun with this!  Here's the link to the posting with the "Chip In For Midnight".

No kidding, Karen. My Doods may never see their blankets. I'm picturing myself all snuggled up and taking NAPS. It's a total fantasy...I never take naps, but it sounds like a good idea.

If it makes everyone feel better when I first made Molly a blanket a couple of years ago I had to eventually make bigger ones for my husband and kids because if Molly wasn't on her blanket it was covering up one of them while we watched tv. I'm sure your doodle will share it with whoever wins it......or you can snuggle together.....
