A Sport Made for Doodles!
I think agility is great and doodles could absolutely excel... but there's another sport that's being televised more and more that involves dogs jumping off docks into the water.. the one that goes the furthest - WINS... the organization is called DockDogs and it's one of the sports included in Purina's "Incredible Dog Challenge". There are 4 divisions.. "big air" furthest jump, "extreme vertical" highest jump, "speed retrieve" fastest swim to retrieve and I can't remember the 4th... it's aired weekly on the outdoor channel. I love to watch dock dogs. Jordan has no "hops" at all. It is really quite funny really.
She is not at all graceful,but that is why I love her. I think her vertical leap is about 0.Her back paws have never left the ground.....ever.
Now my Non-doodle back in his younger years would have great. I have a picture of him jumping as high as my head for a ball.
He will still leap the couch every now and then just to show he still has it.

Tilly Is a great water dog so i tried dock dogs but she decided that she was not going to go off the dock. Insted she runs the other way. O-Well I think she would be better at agility anyways
