I don't feel well enough to exactly navigate through everything..but from what I got was he has MRSA..I have a ton of IV and pill medications that are just for MRSA....I am coming off treatment for it. Will where he is getting treatment except my medication....it should save thousands..

I have BACTRIM, CIPRO, ZYVOX, I think those are the three for MRSA."

I am still not home but I can have someone mail it to the clinic...just let me know if that will help?

Just let me know my friends have keys to my house..I can have them ship it. I specifically remember my vet saying when Jim dropped off some meds there that they could use it for MRSA ......I am serious I would love to pay all the love I got forward! I have enough for a months supply including , saline and heparin supplies.

Please let me know. I meet with surgeon this am but will be free later..and possibly home tomorrow ...

I also have Zithromax, doxicilln, Cipro as well I was well drugged I guess!

Hi Jennifer and Jack,

Thank you for trying to help Hurley. I know it is a lot of information to go through! How thoughtful and kind of you to want to help out by finding out what medicines he needs. He is on Sulfamethoxazole and Trimethoprim 800/160 mg. He actually will be done with these in about 3 weeks. His vet says that his infection is looking very good. He has another appt. on the 24th of this month to get a recheck on how his cysts are reacting to these antibotics. I am amazed of good they are looking. (I think it's also because he has a lot of love from Doodle Kisses..all the prayers and support are working!)

I think that he will go off of these soon and be ready for his surgery. Thank you for reaching out and wanting to help. Yes, what Hurley is going through is hard and I was really lost when all this happened, but because of people like you and this website good is happening. We as a family are seeing how wonderful the world still is, how truly caring people are and how much love humans have for their animals!

Thank you for wanting to help, and you actually did by wanting to send your medicine! It's not just donating money for the surgery, but there have been people who have given wonderful ideas, support, and prayers! All that is just as wonderful!

Hey that is generic bactrim!!! I so can hook you up with that, though in the human world that is not an expensive drug...if that doesn't work let your vet know I have Zyvox IV as well as Cipro IV...

Regina -- Possibly you could work a deal with your vet for any meds that Jennifer has that are unopened.  He could possibly reduce the bill by at least a portion of the value of those meds.

Hey! Ok..i just have to understand what I am going to tell the vet! I thought she wanted me to give them to Hurley! So. Go to vet and tell him that she has unopened medicine that treats MRSA? That he can buy them from her? I just want to make sure I understand! I have no problem going to talk to him! Sometimes it takes me a while to get on the same page! Forgive me!!

Yes I will donate Zyvox which is IV 600mgs it is one of the best medications for MRSA I will donate as much as he needs and get it shipped it is all unopened. I also have bactrim, which he is already on. I have Cipro but they don't usually treat MRSA with that. Please let me know some can send someone to my house to ship it!
