Wow....that is a lot of energy filled dogs for sure!  I myself have 3 dogs: Chloe (the goldendoodle), Koda (black lab) and Mollie (Beagle).  They are a great pack and I have no issues walking them all.

I have a really hard time with 2 on leashes at once. I'm a lazy dog trainer. They tie each other and me in knots. They do much better when we leave the park then when we first get there. Overall I do much better with one dog at a time. I am always impressed when people can walk multiple dogs at once.

Using a tandem leash help them not to get so tangled.  Research the kind that would work the best for you.  If you dogs are different heights make sure you get the adjustable.

It can be overwhelming at first, but if you keep them on shorter leashes, one on each side of you, they learn quickly where they are supposed to be :)  It just takes practice.  I also walk my dogs everyday, sometimes twice a day if I have the time. The only time I can have issues with getting tangled is if another dog is walking by.

Picco is usually mellow but can get up to speed when playing but doesn't get out of control.  He is very easy to calm down, we just ask to sit and pet him and he calms down!

Chloe knows when to be mellow as well.  I have had her therapy certified, so we go and visit the elderly at the old age homes.  She loves the attention, and the treats, that she gets from the people.

Smart girl!  It still surprises me how they know how to react in certain situations.  I know some dogs that don't seem to care where they are or who's around, they just do their own thing.

So true. Not all dogs are meant to be Therapy Dogs.

What do you do to exercise Picco?  Do you visit any dog parks?

We do a hike with friends and dogs almost weekly for 3-4 hrs.  During the week I try to get out a couple times for a trail run or walk if not then play ball in the back yard.  We rarely go to dog parks and if we do it's usually while traveling.  Picco is a toy hog and it seems whenever someone else is at a dog park they bring a ball. If Picco gets hold of it then he won't let go!

Ha, our Billie is the same way with balls at the dog park! I've stopped taking her as much because she won't even run around. She just wants to sit with her ball and guard it against anyone who comes near her. Unfortunately our dog park always has balls lying around, so it's inescapable! the worst, though, is when someone brings their own special ball for their dog and then they want it back. It's not worth the aggravation!

Ha ha that's funny.  We have one dog park where we live and I only go occasionally....if there aren't too many people/dogs there.  I find many people use the dog park as a place where they can let their dogs run around while they sit on the side lines and play with their phones or socialize....totally not watching their dogs.  Then those dogs seem to be the ones that are out of control and cause issues.   I also don't want Chloe to pick up any bad habits from other dogs at the park. So I choose my time there wisely.   There is a conservation area with over
30 kms of trails that I walk the dogs in.  I prefer to be there.
