Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Hello All,
Addie is 20 weeks today. She had her second grooming at a new place. The first place, when I asked them to trim the hair that was getting into her eyes, proceeded to shave her down her nose and up between her eyes, as well as clipping some of her brow. The 2 groomings have been just to get her used to it; bath, sanitary, nail trim, inside ears, pads, and teeth brushed.
I think her puppy coat is fleece, but it is not particularly thick. When she groomed her this time, the groomer straightened out her coat so she looks like a little puffball. Is this because of the grooming or because her coat is thin? I know the waves will come back, especially if she decides to go wading in the baby pool.
We stopped by the vet and at 20 weeks, she is 18.3 lbs. I guess she is going to be more like her miniature ALD dad than her small standard F1 goldendoodle mom.

Addie is adorable. The fleecier coats straighten out with grooming and wave tight back up in a few days.
She is adorable!
She is adorable. To get rid of the 'puff' just spritz with water and scrunch.
Quincy gets a poofy look when he is groomed from the blow out. If you can't wait for the curls to return, just spray water mist and fluff it around - or as someone said, wait for a rainfall! Addie is adorable!
