Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

As most of you know, our Bucketz passed away three weeks ago from bone cancer.  Jaxx is our 4 yr old goldendoodle that we rescued last fall.  We are looking for a brother or sister for him so if anyone knows of any rescue or rehome labradoodles, please share the info with me:)  We are in south central/east PA so also close to MD.  Thanks so much!!!

Yes, a doodle that has been raised with another dog is devastated when their companion dies.  Please go to iDog or DRC and get your name on the list for rescuing a needy doodle.  It is a great way to go.  There are plenty of dogs who need homes in your area this time of year.

Good luck - I hope you find Jaxx a friend soon.  So sorry for your loss.

I don't know how IDOG works, but with the DRC you want to get your application in (if you meet their guidelines) and have it on file so that when one comes up you are already in their system.  Many of them don't even get posted because they have approved homes waiting.  Good luck.

I got Elli off of Craigslist here in Midland, Michigan.  I kept watching the list because my office neighbor put his gorgeous doodle on the list and that alerted me to the fact that people post their pets on this site.  She was 6 years old when we picked her up January this year.  Good Luck.

Clancy was at our local shelter.  Ned and I went to a fundraiser and met him.  He had not been posted on their website.  He was rescued from a kill shelter where he had been listed as dog aggressive.  We are so thankful that someone looked beyond his fear and saw what a great dog he is.  Shelter Clancy:

Lucky lucky family and Clancy!  And such a "cute" one...wow...amazing what people do to their pets!

iDog, DRC or you could also try DVGRR (Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue). They also have doodles for rehoming. Good luck.
