After spaying

So cooper got spayed today. After we got home I expected him to be sleepy but no he wants to run and jump. I finally had to lock him into kennel. He is not happy about it but I don't know what else to d
o. Did anybody's dog did the same? I don't even want to think of the next week and keeping him still...ugh

I'm guessing you mean that he got neutered today, because only females can be spayed, lol. 

Neuter surgery is much less invasive than spay surgery, and the dog has much less pain afterwards. He sounds pretty normal to me.
