Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
I am in need of being distracted and keeping busy.... I have netflix and the ability to download just about any book that is available...
I can't get out and drive on my own right now so I can't get to the library or things like that..... I am bored in between treatments and I was wondering what your favorite dog book or movie was.
I read the Temple Grandin (spelling sorry) Animals make us human and it was interesting. Since I am about all things Jack I would love to watch a good movie and read some books.... Educational books, training books, food books, novels but for the love of God do not recommend Hachi that movie almost put me in respiratory failure I cried so hard.. LOL
Thanks for any ideas.......I tried to look on the internet about raw feeding as I am doing that and I found some groups but apparently since I am doing commercial raw and ground I am "not doing it right so I am not accepted" Seriously.. that is funny.... truly.......

KAREN!!!! I knew there was a part two and three and I still bawled my eyes out when Jerry Lee got shot.... Oh I loved loved loved loved part one.. It made me fall so in love with Jerry Lee ... Now I get why in part three they put a poodle outfit on the German Shepard. LOL
This movie has something for everyone, action, touching, loving, funny.... I just love this movie, I am going to order the hard copy of it to have it for all time.. This for sure is up there with one of my favorites .. On to part two!!!
You all need to watch this if you haven't seen this yet..
Hey, I never steer you guys wrong, do I?
IMO, the third one is nowhere near as good as the first two. But still entertaining.
German Shepherds are the original seeing eye dogs, and are still the number one breed used for that work. They are also widely used as assistance dogs. They are more than loyal...they bond to a human faster and stronger than any other breed in existence, and they will lay down their lives for you. That's the reason they are the preferred breed for police work; not because they're bigger or stronger or more ferocious than lots of other breeds, they aren't...it's because of their tremendous working drive and what GSD people call the "Shepherd Bond". I love them. I had several GSD fosters and let all of them go, although I wanted to keep one of them in particular with all my heart, but it just wouldn't have been fair to that dog at that time in my life. One of these days....
You have to have seen a police K9 unit.
I'm surprised. There are at least half a dozen GSDs in my neighborhood.
What a shame that you have pitbulls, but no German Shepherds.
