Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

I have had Finn since June 1st.  I'm sorta fond of the little guy.

Today, shortly after I got home, a lady called saying she had seen Finn at daycare and fell in love. She heard he was a foster and thought he would be perfect for her stepmom and dad and 2 brothers (9, 10)

They actually live in New Orleans...don't know where exactly.

I told her I would have to think about it.

I probably could use some sage advice here.

awww, who wouldn't fall in love with that boy - I am noticing a trend here...one is not enough!  how has it been for you with two dogs?
Go with your heart.  Go with your gut.  I'm kinda of fond of him too.  How wonderful someone else sees Finn as WONDERFUL.  It is a compliment to you.
P.S.  He looks rather fond of your pond too!  LOL
Hmm another thought.  Anyone who is getting a dog for someone else always makes me wonder.  They would have to Come and meet Finn for themselves.
I agree.  BTW, she thought he was a labradoodle.
HE IS A LABRADOODLE!

I worry I'm being selfish if I keep him.

The vet techs said she couldn't have him because he would be in New Orleans.

Linda, if you love him and can provide him a great home, how is that being selfish, I rather think it is selfless.

ps. I don't care what the dna says, he's Finn Macdoodle.

Thanks Donna. Keeping him was never my intent but I think I fell in love.

The last dog, I never meant to keep, stayed 14 years.  I never regretted a day.

I knew that would happen! Isn't that the answer there?
He is adorable...I don't think I could give him up either! If you can handle having two doodles, then keep him...he looks like he has been happy with you so far!
