I have had Finn since June 1st.  I'm sorta fond of the little guy.

Today, shortly after I got home, a lady called saying she had seen Finn at daycare and fell in love. She heard he was a foster and thought he would be perfect for her stepmom and dad and 2 brothers (9, 10)

They actually live in New Orleans...don't know where exactly.

I told her I would have to think about it.

I probably could use some sage advice here.

YYYIIIIIPPPPPPEEEEEEEE!!!!! Just got back from the cottage to read this wonderful surprise. I'm so happy for both of you. That middle picture is just too much! I can't wait to see Finn Mcdoodle grow up!
Don't do it!  He loves you and you love him! And that face is worth being "the crazy dog lady!"
Hooray!!! So glad we get to watch little Finn doodle growup!!  Congrats!!
Linda...it is a no brainer!  You have fallen in love with little Finn and Murphy is fine with him living with you.  It is meant to be.  He belongs to you and Murphy!!!  I too think it is wrong to let him go with someone who wants to get him for someone else and then send him all the way across the US.  They may not be as crazy about having a dog or Finn might not be what they wanted.  There are lots of people who think they are doing a family member a favor by getting them a pet when in fact, they are NOT!  I would not let her take him!!  If you don't keep him then he needs to go to someone who is head over heels crazy in love with him and he will be THEIR forever pet.  I think you know the answer and there is absolutely nothing selfish about keeping him.  It is actually the right thing to do because he has had two homes so far to live in with you being the foster.  It isn't fair to send him on his way to yet another home and strangers.  Finn needs you!!!  Done deal!

He really is the epitome of cute!

We are very happy for Finn and your family.

'FFF'  AKA Foster Failure Finn!  Congrats, delighted that this little fellow has found you.
Linda: I am not sure what you've decided, but you've been on my heart! What a precious little guy! How are you feeling about it all? It was fun reading his results! What a good (and vast) mix! Watch him go from "mutt" to "designer breed" in the next 10 years, haha....
He is definitely home. :-) Thanks so much.

I don't think I believe the DNA results. (I do DNA research) They didn't mention which procedure they used and it is very easy to contaminate DNA. They also stated that their results cannot be used to confirm a dog's breed for AKC.
wow. hope it didn't cost you much... Once he's grown up more I am SURE you will have a better idea! Can you test him through your workplace? If you get a second opinion later and they turn out to be wrong, hopefully they will refund your money or straighten up and fly right....  One way or another, what a wonderful addition! We wish you the best!
