Just wondering if anybody here has ever used Dasuquin to help with arthritis. I've been doing some research and apparently it's quite good, it's just glucosamine and chondroitin with some other stuff thrown in it looks like though, so maybe a generic would be just as effective?

Some info -

What do you think about this?

Hi, we have a discussion in the Health Group about using Dasuquin for dogs with arthritis, it's very informative:

I have been giving Dasuquin with MSM to one of my dogs for many years. Previously, I gave him Cosequin DS, until our vet suggested the change to Dasuquin. I started when he was very young and had just been diagnosed with hip dysplasia. I cannot tell you with any certainty that it has helped, because he never showed serious symptoms, but I can tell you that (so far) he doesn't appear to be in any discomfort from arthritis. I've been giving it to him, just in case it helps, believing that it certainly cannot hurt.
