Ellen, have you invited your breeder to join? That might be a great way to get some of Beau's littermates and other relatives to join. Or if the breeder doesn't have time to join, perhaps she can send out an e-mail to her puppy owners to tell them about your group :-) good luck!

Our puppy is from there, but we haven't gotten him yet (he will be coming home to us around Dec 3rd). His mother is Alli and his father is Kendi. He is what Kathy calls a "comfort retriever". This is him @ 5 weeks (our most recent picture). We will be calling him Aure (OR-ee).

He is just precious! If he brings you half as much joy as my sweet Beau brings me, your cup will runneth over! I am planning a fourth birthday party for Beau here in Sunny Isles, FL next Sunday....wish you could all join us at the soiree! I am serving pina coladas, lemon birthday cake for the humans and a hamburger cake iced with mashed potatoes for the dogs. I have done this for every birthday for Beau. I'll take pictures and send them along. If you visit our page and go to our photos, I think I have some of the prior birthday parties in there. I always make the parties a doodle romp too, so he has some of his "brethren" around him on his birthday. Please send a kiss to Aure from us, and please send my regards to Kathy. I always remember how she got down flat on the ground and put Beau on her chest and hugged him before I drove him away to get on the plane!

I almost got a puppy from Doodlequest but she did not have the kind I was looking for. We needed a multi generation due to my son's allergies. I do know that Trina Shea got her Swayze from there. You can look her up. She is on DK. I also have a friend who got their dog from there but she is not on DK.
