Anyone Purchase a Honda CRV for their Doodle?

I know we have brought up the discussion of buying SUVs for your doods.  My current car is a "luxury" sedan that is a maintenance nightmare.  I am beyond sick of dealing with it. 

 

The local Honda dealer is offering fabulous deals and I have been liking the new CRVs lately.  Does any other DKer have one of these?  I am loving the light green ones with tan leather.  Do your doods like them???  LOL!  I am just thinking about impending beach trips with doodle and chi.  How nice would it be to have the extra cargo room (not to mention a warranty???)???

We just recently bought an Element for our Doodle. He loves it, as do we. So much more room and extras that are perfect for a dog :) My father thinks I'm crazy for purchasing a vehicle just for my dog, but do I care... nope... :) Good luck on your car search! :)

Allyson -- I want to say that in the last conversation about did you buy your doodle an SUV or whatever it was titled that someone did say that bought a CRV but I don't remember who it was. My input is you can't go wrong with a HONDA -- we are on number 6 I think. This time a Honda Odyssey Minivan -- gobs of room for the girls, luggage, and all their junk!

I bought one for my DD in July 2008. She has the light blue and she loves it. Jackdoodle likes it, too!

My answer is "not yet", but the new CRV is at the top of my list for my next car. I drive a jeep liberty now and do enjoy the room for a dog or dogs!

I just know that Honda makes reliable vehicles - plus the CRVs are so darn cute. I can just picture Peri riding around in the back seat, harnessed in, with her head leaning out the window!

Will keep you all posted....the leasing and financing specials go through the end of August, so I am going to test drive a few and take it from there!
