He is adorable isn't he? He has a sister from his dad and a different mom available right now and I am so tempted to pull the trigger and go get her. But then we just got out of the total land shark phase and he is going with me on 2-3 mile walks, doing well with training so that makes me hesitant...but oh my, how I love his chocolate and white fluffy body!

Thank God...

There was a moment where I'm like oh I could handle another-

I see all the pix with 2 doodles side by side and think Jack could use a live in friend.

Then I'm reminded-for me, he is MORE than enough for now :)

I agree...I think, well I have all the paraphernalia and I think I have this down puppy thing down pat, and then I think, do I want to start allover again? Henry has just completed 4 private training lessons and so much of it he did really well, like sit/stay and most especially leash training. Come here command is something we are going to have to do a lot of work on. He is not a sniffer, not a puller and great loose leash or in heel command. He's not a destructive puppy, loves a couple of toys but not a big chewer and is not really food motivated; eats his two meals, will take treats but has a really soft mouth and doesn't try and take my hand off. So many good traits, what if puppy #2 was the opposite? Or caused him to regress in training at this point? Two of them ganging up on me? Hmmm, maybe I'll wait until puppyhood is behind us and he is well behaved and then think about #2 when he is at least a year old.
