Apple Cider Vinegar as a Flea/Tick preventative

Does anyone have experience using ACV as a flea/tick preventative? How did it work?

Luvmydoodle, We have many discussions regarding Apple Cider Vinegar and the conclusion reached most often is that it is not useful for treating as many things as people claim it is. The word often used here is hokum. meaning: out and out nonsense according to dictionary.com. Our resident doc is the great user of hokum. There have been discussions posted just waiting to get a "hokum" from her. 

I hate putting chemicals on my doodles, but I've had a Golden with flea allergies and it is an ugly problem. I wouldn't try something like ACV.

Adina, F told me to stick my head in a bucket of ACV and it would work better, but it just made me dizzy :)

LuvMyDoodle, When I was brand new to DoodleKisses I posted a discussion asking about putting it on the back of Fudge's neck for something that I can't even remember. I got my first hokums and have been purposely trying to get more since that time :) It doesn't work. We use Frontline Plus and I also have my dogs vaccinated against Lyme's Disease because we do have ticks. Good luck!

Hmmmm.....conjunctivitis is all I can find on the Internet, but I don't remember Fudge ever having that problem.  I remember I was mad and deleted it, I think :) I am sure it was all F's fault :) LOL  The bigger question is why did I post it in the FG??

You should be a detective. I would have sworn I did a discussion on just ACV, but I guess I didn't. I guess I wasn't a genius just yet :) Good thing I am one now. LOL  It does explain why it was in the FG.
