So sorry to hear this.  I would be furious but the real difficult part is watching your dood in pain.  I hope she heals quickly.  I am sure your vet will keep a close check-and if not I would be quick to remind him!

Oh, beautiful Miah.  What an unbelievable and unexpected cause of injury.  I am so sorry for Miah and for you, and hope for a resolution that will bring relief to Miah.  You know . . . we try so hard to protect our furry kids, and then freak accidents happen in ways that we would never imagine.  I hope that the understanding and support of your DK friends will help, even a little bit.
