Bach Rescue Remedy...advice on useage?

I know you can use the human formula of Rescue Remedy on dogs, but wanted to ask about dosage, etc.  If you have used this in the past for your dogs, could you please advise me?  I was only able to find the "human" formula locally and wanted to try it tonight, as Grover is terrified of the fireworks (as well as thunder...and yes, I purchased the Thundershirt today also)  Last night was his worst night ever so we were relieved to find a pet store open today.

I have the spray, so don't know whether to spray directly in his mouth or rub on his gums....I've even read of people putting it on the dogs ears? 

Also, is there a big difference in the "pet" formula, as opposed to the "human"....or any benefits?

Keeps my dogs quiet for exactly 15 minutes- then they PUKE. I came to the conclusion that for the first 15 minutes they must have that pre-puke, room - spinning sensation. Of course they get quiet. They are nauseated!
Find a quiet room, turn on the tv add a loud fan, then curl up and cuddle. Works just as well ( no miracles cures for these events).

Oh Joanne--that's terrible (the puking part, not the cuddling part)! I also find that during fireworks or thunderstorms cuddling works best--I turn myself into a human thundershirt and squeeze Sadie (gently but firmly) and she usually curls up on my lap (all 55 pounds of her) and goes to sleep.

I suggest you read a book, The Hidden Messages in Water, by Masaru Emoto.

I'm afraid I wouldn't waste my money. If you can explain how water has memory or messages I'll read that. You know Ricki, I hope, that I like and respect you. But we do not agree on these things and I doubt we will.

Yes, I will agree that we will never agree on these things. And I like and respect you as well. However, in this case if you are not willing "waste" your money then I guess I won't waste my time either. :)

Water with a memory kinda freaks me out ... Especially given the stuff I've cleaned using water that has gone into the sewer system....bath water, toilet water, rain water.
