Bathing Dog

How often do you bathe your dog? Our goes to the groomer once every 2 months, but even though I clean all the time it still smells. I’m thinking of taking him once a month just to get bathed he’s a 70 pound dog and last time I tried bathing him in the tub well let’s just say I’m the one who got bathed lol

My girls get bathed by the groomer every 6-8 weeks and I don't think they smell in between. Maggie and her white dog-ness does seem to get a little less white before she gets back to the groomer, but with her being fairly long and fairly curly I find that I can't bathe her well myself, even if I take her into the self service dog wash. It's because I can't ever get her completely dry. I find that she gets matted after my beauty treatment. My old groomer said that it was the dryer. The new groomer says its technique. But whatever the problem is I get bored while they're still damp, and nothing good comes of it.
