I have to second and third all of the above comments! I can TOTALLY relate to all of the cartoons. We have always had dogs in our family, but most of them were dachshunds who who just die if they got their feet wet - much less dirty! Over the years we have had a German Shorthair Pointer, a Golden Retriever, and a "heritage Unknown" that I highly suspect was a labradoodle. He was a stray that adopted us when he was about 3 years old. We have loved them all dearly, But NONE of these many dogs over the years have caused the havoc, dirty paw prints, chaos, and overt affection that these two doodle boys have caused in our house. Life would be SO boring with them.

Before my doodle (before my dog actually, as I had not owned one before), my life had a little less mud, a little less wet dog smell from rain, and a little less smell of dog food. I accept it all as I have grown more patient, met more people and learned to love and protect my doggie. He's such a great addition to the family as we only have one child. Toby is my son's buddy. "Your canine brother", I call our dog Toby to my son. We all go the distance for Toby and we love it. So maybe I have to Windex, Febreeze and vacuum a little bit more but I wouldn't change it for the world.

Jax has his own albumn on my phone and my computer is even more detailed with puppy pics, Holiday pic, and even Jax photo shoot so I can pick out the perfect photo for the card exchange. He even has his own canister in the kitchen with dog bones. All events away from the house are scheduled around a dog walk! Love my doodle.
