Best grooming brush/comb

Hi There,

I have a labradoodle that has a curly coat and is hard to keep brushed.  It's really hard to get the brush down to the skin and he is knotty.  Can anyone recommend the best kind of tool for his tough coat?

I mentioned in an earlier post that I recently got my Les Poochs green brush online at Reigning Cats and Dogs. I placed the order with some trepidation because the shop is in London. When I received it in less than 2 weeks, I spoke with the owner (who is so helpful!), ordered another (purple), which I received just as quickly. One has Les Poochs on it, the other, Activet.
